Invitation

The Tasmanian Public Sector Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards will be held at a Celebratory Event at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart.  We invite you to sponsor an award; please consider the details below.  If you would like to negotiate a package please contact Leesa McDermott.  Details of the awards can be found on the Department of Health’s website.

The World Health Organisation has declared 2020 as the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife in honour of the significant and ongoing contribution of the professions to the health and wellbeing of communities around the world. Fittingly, this coincides with the 200th anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.  Tasmania will join the global celebrations with a range of events planned across 2020.
